Understand what's happening, so you can decide what comes next.
For many women, midlife arrives with a confusing mix of physical, emotional and psychological changes. You may find yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, forgetful, exhausted or simply unlike yourself, without realising that hormones could be playing a part.
Understanding what's happening can be incredibly reassuring.
I offer one-to-one menopause guidance in Cardiff, South Wales and online, providing clear, evidence-based information and guidance to help you make sense of the changes you're experiencing, understand what may be connected to menopause and explore the support and options available to you.
This isn't about telling you what to do.
It's about helping you feel informed, heard and more confident about making decisions that feel right for you.
“I was really struggling. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I felt like I was losing myself. Gemma really listened and made me feel like everything was going to be alright. We made a plan together and when I left I felt like I could start putting myself back together again." Laura
One-to-One Menopause Guidance
A 90-minute individual session to help you make sense of what's happening.
If you're wondering whether some of the changes you're experiencing could be linked to perimenopause or menopause, you're not alone.
Many women find themselves trying to piece everything together – wondering what's happening, which symptoms might be connected, what support is available and what questions they should be asking.
This is your time to pause, talk through what you've been experiencing and ask the questions you've been holding onto.
Together, we'll explore your experiences, look at reliable information about menopause and the support available and consider practical ways you can support your wellbeing.
My guidance draws on my specialist training as a CPD Accredited Executive Menopause Coach and trusted, evidence-based menopause information. My role is to help you feel better informed and more confident about what you'd like to do next.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you need. We'll work through it together.
During your session, we can explore:
The symptoms and changes you've been experiencing
The stages of menopause – perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
Lifestyle factors that can support your health and wellbeing
Information about HRT and other treatment options
Preparing for conversations with your GP or healthcare professional
Practical strategies to support your wellbeing
Helpful resources and trusted sources of further information
Every woman's experience is different, so the session will be shaped around you and the questions that matter most to you.
You'll leave with:
A clearer understanding of menopause and what you may be experiencing
Reliable, evidence-based information and resources
Greater clarity about the support and options available to you
More confidence about the questions you may want to ask your healthcare professional
Practical ideas to support your wellbeing
A clearer sense of what you'd like to do next
90-minute one-to-one session – £90
An important note
I provide menopause education and guidance to help you understand menopause and make informed choices. I don't diagnose medical conditions, provide medical advice or prescribe or recommend treatment.
Where appropriate, I can help you prepare for conversations with your GP or another healthcare professional and signpost you to trusted sources of information and further support.

Menopause guidance with coaching
Sometimes understanding what's happening is only the beginning.
You may understand more about menopause and why you're feeling the way you do, but still feel overwhelmed, stuck or unsure about what you want next.
This is where coaching can help.
By combining menopause guidance with one-to-one coaching, we can explore both what's happening and what you need.
Coaching gives you more time to explore the wider impact of midlife and menopause – on your confidence, relationships, work, priorities or sense of self – and begin making practical changes that feel right for you.
Guidance helps you understand. Coaching helps you explore what you want to do next.
If you're unsure which kind of support would be most helpful, please get in touch and we can talk it through.
“Understanding what's happening doesn't make everything disappear, but it can change everything."
